1 · Pick the topic
We cover two shelves — tech gadgets and home & living — and choose topics from real questions: what to buy for a small desk, how to set a gadget up, which upgrade is worth the money and which isn't.
2 · Write it
Every post is written for a person with a problem to solve, with clear steps and plain language. Software may help with outlines or spelling, but a person decides what goes in and what stays out.
3 · Check it
Before publishing we read the post as a stranger would: does it answer the question in its title, are the claims ones we can stand behind, are the links labelled? If we haven't checked a detail, we leave it out or say we haven't.
4 · Keep it current
Prices, stock and product versions change. When we update a post, the “Updated” date changes with it, and anything that has gone out of date is fixed or removed. Spotted a mistake? Tell us.
About the links
Some links go to stores and may be affiliate links. Posts that contain them say so at the top, and the links themselves are marked as sponsored for search engines. We only show a price when we have checked it, and you should always confirm the current price and availability on the store before buying. Full details are in our affiliate disclosure.
