Overview

Everyday Finds | Tech & Home is a small curation website. We try to collect as little as possible. This page describes what the site does today.

What we collect

  • Contact form. If you write to us, we store the name, email address and message you send, so we can reply. We also store a one-way (hashed) fingerprint of your network address to help us spot spam; we cannot read your address back from it.
  • Server logs. Like most websites, our server and hosting provider record technical details of each request (such as time, page requested, and network address) for security and reliability.

We do not currently run advertising trackers or third-party analytics on this website.

Cookies

Visitors don't need cookies to browse this site. The contact form sets one short-lived security cookie to protect the form from forgery; it expires within an hour and isn't used for tracking. Cookies used by the site's owner to sign in to the administration area are not set for visitors.

Third parties

This site links to merchants and to other websites. Once you follow a link, that service's own privacy policy applies, and it may use cookies — including affiliate-tracking cookies that let a merchant know a visit came from us. See our affiliate disclosure.

How long we keep it

Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and are deleted on request. Server logs are kept for a limited period by the hosting provider.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, using the contact page. Depending on where you live, you may have further legal rights, which we will respect.

Children

This website is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

If we change how the site handles data, we'll update this page and its date.
